Stella

Stella is a graduate from the Auckland University of Technology, and completed clinical placements in Auckland City Hospital and Greenlane Clinical Centre where she gained experience in a variety of settings; including neurological, paediatric, post-operative, and geriatric. Stella became interested in physiotherapy when she saw how members of her family were able to recover from traumatic injuries through physiotherapy and return back to their regular lives.

Stella uses a holistic approach to rehabilitation, and recognises the importance of addressing an individual's unique circumstances. Growing up, Stella was an avid netball and hockey player, and currently she likes to stay active through pilates, snowboarding and ice skating.

Senior Physiotherapist, Acupuncturist Pauline worked in private practice for over 18 years. She has a ‘hands on’ approach to treating her clients, with a combination of soft tissue techniques, mobilisation, strength and conditioning, and accupuncture to help them on their path to injury recovery.

Pauline has her post grad diploma in Western Acupuncture from AUT, and is very well qualified in the international Mulligan technique, a concept which helps improve mobility at all joints in the body. Pauline is an ex competitive swimmer, and over the past few years has competed at a national age group level in triathlon, Half Ironman and offroad adventure running races including the Tarawera 50km ultra.

Callum

Born and raised in the sunny Hawkes Bay, Callum moved to Auckland to pursue his dream of becoming a physiotherapist, graduating from Auckland University of Technology. Callum’s desire to pursue a career in physiotherapy came about after experiencing the benefits of physiotherapy led rehabilitation following a spat of sports related injuries. During his studies Callum gained experience in community outpatient, acute trauma, and private practice settings. As well as this he had the opportunity to work as a physiotherapy assistant at trans-tasman masters hockey and with the Auckland Rugby academy squads.

Callum favours an approach that focuses on the individual rather than the presenting condition, using a range of treatment techniques to help his clients achieve their goals. During his downtime Callum enjoys staying active, enjoying the trails around Auckland and playing cricket on the weekend.

His treatment approach involves hands-on therapies, including joint mobilisation and manipulation. Rohil also does formalised Return to Play Knee testing for Careway (an ACC funded initiative).
